It has been a family-run restaurant for the past 45 years, managed with a great deal of pride by the Muscat family Ben and Maria, along with their son Ben Jr and Lara, and complemented by the experienced staff who provide a very professional yet friendly service that leaves all clients with a smile. On regular evenings, the atmosphere is lively with jovial musicians that come to your table and sing a tune to your liking and on Wednesday and Friday nights, folklore dancers in traditional eighteenth century costumes fill the restaurant with a vibrant movement of dance and culture.

The award-winning chefs present a wide array of traditional dishes such as Sfinec, Ravjul, Fenek Moqli and Bragjoli and also signature dishes with Summien (quails marinated in Maltese honey served with a parmesan and mushroom risotto), Klamar Mimli (stuffed squid, fried baby squid served with Linguine with squid ink) and Majjal il-Forn (pork fillets with spinach and pine nuts in breadcrumbs served with a fresh pepper and mustard sauce) from their acclaimed A La Carte Menu.

On weekdays, Ta’ Marija hosts its popular Fenkata night on Thursdays, whilst Saturday dinner and Sunday lunches are popular for the lavish buffet that the restaurant offers, along with the regular a-la-carte menu. Transport from any locality in Malta can also be arranged.
